LC circuits

The second order differential equation governing the current i(t) in the LC circuit is

frac{d ^{2}i(t)}{dt^{2}} + frac{1}{LC} i(t) = 0.,

Thus, the complete solution to the differential equation is

i(t) = Ae ^{+j omega t}  +   Be ^{-j omega t},

The resonant frequency of the LC circuit is

omega = sqrt{1 over LC}
